Seatguru Delta 777
Answer 1 of 3: Flight DL295 Delta has refurbished some of their 777's, including this one. Seat Guru doesn't have the correct layout. The only 777 option for Delta on SG only has 36 Comfort+ seats, but the actual 777 on this route has 90. Delta Air Lines currently has a fleet of 16 Boeing 777s; 8 777-200ER and 8 (newer) 777-200LR. They also have 2 777-200LR on order. Never had any 777-300 models in the fleet, and there are none on order. For your next Delta flight, use this seating chart to get the most comfortable seats, legroom, and recline on. Delta Boeing 777-200ER/LR (7HD) Layout 2. Note: There are 2 versions of this aircraft. I flew this aircraft from LAX to ATL. The fully lie-flat seats in business class are really neat, however, the layout makes it very difficult to see out the window. You face away from the window, and you only get one window to look out of. Essentially you have turn your head about 100 degrees to look out the window. I like the space for laptops and for food. It has plenty of power outlets - one for your computer, and a USB charging port, which is nice. You have no place unfortunately to store your luggage under your seat...everything MUST go in the overhead bins. I prefer Delta's lie-flat seats in business class of its 767-400LR aircraft better. As for the seats privacy, my seat was one of the single ones on one of the sides of the plane. For persons traveling alone/single, these seemed to be the best option, however the layout of the seats will not provide a traveling couple much interaction ability.

Misc notes:

The footrest could have been wider/larger, which would be nice to have had a larger area for my feet to have rested and could have doubled as a sitting area for a traveling companion (if you had one) to sit and talk with.

The new lay-flat beds are a step in the right direction for Delta and they are certainly an upgrade from the angle reclined seats Delta/NWA had (and still does use on such aircraft as the 747-400), but more research (including some real fliers who would use the seats) should have been done by Delta before acquisition and installation of these seats were done in their planes.
